2. The Complete Speed Training Resource

Modern sport, more than ever before, relies on speed and power. The fastest athletes have all the advantages. Even if they lack skill, they still seem to get the most attention from coaches; they’re often the first name on the team sheet...

The more powerful you are, and the quicker you are, and the more agile you are… the easier your sport becomes. And that’s true whether you play baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, hockey, lacrosse, rugby... the list could go on and on.

But isn’t being “fast” down to genetics?

Can a slow-to-average player actually become really "quick"?

Creators of a new speed training system claim they can... and relatively easily! Two of the world’s top athletic trainers, Patrick Beith and Latif Thomas, have produced what is considered by many in the industry to be the most powerful speed training program available. It's called Complete Speed Training and the accounts of athletes (all abilities and ages) who have used it are literally quite astounding...

Even parents have used the system to train their children as young as 10 years of age. Their son or daughter has gone from the slowest child on the team to one of the fastest.

If nothing else it’s well worth reading some of the many wonderful success stories at the website. Many athletes and coaches are sceptical that fast athletes really can be "built" rather than born.

As with all products Sports Fitness Advisor recommends, Complete Speed Training comes with a full money-back guarantee. Take a full year to try the program and if you're not completely happy (and a lot quicker) send it back for a full refund. Sports Fitness Advisor backs all guarantees up for the products we recommend. If someone doesn't honor their refund agreement, for whatever reason, we will honor it (on production of an authentic receipt).

3. Quick Tip -- Isotonic Sports Drinks

Isotonic means a fluid containing electrolytes and 6-8% carbohydrate. They are useful during and before competition and are preferable to high carbohydrate drinks which can actually impair performance. To make your own add 200 ml (7oz) of concentrated orange juice (orange squash) to 1 litre (34oz) of water and add a pinch (¼-½ teaspoon) of table salt.

You can learn more about optimal fluid replacement and Sports Nutrition as a whole in our free course. See below...

4. Free 7-Part Sports Nutrition Course

Visitors to Sports Fitness Advisor ask time and time again for more Sports Nutrition information. There's a plethora of dietary advice online. Unfortunately, much of it tends to be fad in nature, based on assumption and speculation. Fortunately, sports nutrition IS based on scientific, empirical research and while the world of weight loss of fad dieting changes by the day, the eating habits prescribed to athletes has remained relatively unchanged for many years.

Our Sports Nutritionist has just completed a mini course that covers all the essentials of Sports Nutrition. It's completely free and is delivered in 7 daily installments to your e-mail address. You can get your copy at the link below:

5. Secrets of Female Strength & Conditioning

Female athletes are different to male athletes... and they shouldn't be training the same!

Developed by some of the top strength and conditioning trainers in the world, Strength & Conditioning for Females is perfect resource for female athletes and anyone who works with them. Here are a few of the key elements it covers:

  • Discover the five assessment tests all female athletes should perform to determine the training program (complete with photos and descriptions)
  • Learn the best age female athletes should specialize in one sport (the answer will surprise you!)
  • Learn what the 'movement circle' is and why all female athletes should perform this every day!
  • How to improve speed and agility with these proven, field-tested drills and programs
  • Discover the best way to get female athletes into 'sport specific' shape
  • Learn the exercises every female athlete must perform to help prevent ACL injuries
  • Four exercises you should eliminate from your training (and four exercises to replace them with)
  • Sample circuit training programs for female athletes to improve strength, speed, agility and conditioning levels
  • Learn the 8 steps all female athletes must go through for a strong athletic core
  • 15 strategies to help female athletes eat better for maximum performance
  • Discover the 3 most common injuries for female athletes and how to reduce these injuries!

This kind of information is hard to come by -- on and offline. Even large associations such as the ASCM and NSCA tend to treat males and females the same (unless it's exercise during pregnancy). This is one of the few genuine resources that covers the topic in detail.

    6. Can YOU Double Your Vertical Jump?

The ability to jump high is synonymous with athletic prowess. Not only is it essential in sports such as basketball and volleyball, vertical jump ability is a reliable measure of explosive power – perhaps the most essential physical trait in modern sport.

Football players, soccer players, tennis players, lacrosse players, martial artists the list could go on and on... they all require explosive power to perform well in their sports. Vertical jump performance has been shown to have a close relationship with explosive power. In other words -- improve your vertical jump and you improve your explosive power, and vice versa. That makes you a quicker, a more agile, a stronger and more formidable athlete...

Using the correct balance of scientific training methods, anyone can increase their explosive power and their vertical jump. However, gains may be modest unless you are gifted genetically, or happen to be extremely unfit. Until now that is claims Luke Lowry...

Luke is one of the most controversial yet sought after jump coaches in the world. He claims he has literally doubled many athletes’ vertical jumps. If you know anything about conditioning, you’ll know that’s a huge claim. But it’s one that seems to stand up to scrutiny...

Luke's program is endorsed by some very credible individuals - people who have nothing to gain and their reputation to lose by backing his system. Sports Fitness Advisor has seen the program in its entirety and it's content is outstanding. It is entirely believable that in some cases, his athletes have gone from jumping 23 to 46 inches, for example. His system has even had 5 foot 7 inch basketball players slam-dunking.

Luke has so much confidence in his training methods that he guarantees any athlete that follows it will gain at least 6 inches in 60 days. The system isn't not cheap but if it fails to live up to the extraordinary claim (at least 6 inches in 60 days), he offers a full refund AND is prepared to pay the athlete $100 for wasting their time! It's a guarantee that has run for some time so presumably not too many people take him up.

Of course, Sports Fitness Advisor will back that guarantee up. If for some reason, Luke failed to honor his agreement (which he won't) we will cover the cost of the program and pay $100 (upon receiving an authentic receipt).
